San Antonio, Texas - The Lady Eagles overcame a 17-point, first-quarter deficit to comeback and beat the Rattlers for the season series sweep.
St. Mary's took a 24-7 lead in the first quarter against the Lady Eagles. Oklahoma Christian cut the lead to 6 points with a three from
Kate Bradley at 11-5 before the Rattlers run to end the quarter. Bradley had 5 points in the quarter.
The Rattlers took a 19-point lead early in the second quarter, but the Lady Eagles came soaring back. OC battled, cutting into the Rattlers' lead, and with 4:28 remaining in the first half, a
Daijah Torns layup sparked a 13-3 run to end the half. Oklahoma Christian's run was capped with a
Brooklin Bain layup to bring her total to 9 points, and the layup cut the St. Mary's lead to 35-33 at the break.
Torns had 10 points in the first half on 5-6 shooting from the field, and Bain had 8 points on 4-5 shooting from the field.
The third quarter was a low-scoring affair that went back and forth, with the Eagles taking their first lead of the game at 38-37 with 6:08 left in the quarter. Buckets were traded the rest of the quarter, and the quarter ended with a score of 11-10 and a 45-44 St. Mary's lead.
In the fourth quarter, the Rattler's lead grew to five points at 53-38, but that was the last lead they would hold. Oklahoma Christian went on a 12-2 run to end the game, led by Bain with 8 points on the run, and won 60-55.
