Two big innings determine the outcome against the Bronchos

Edmond, Okla. - The Eagles took the short trip to Central Oklahoma for a battle with the Bronchos, who brought an 11-2 record into the game.

UCO's big inning came in the second inning, where the Bronchos reached base on three hits, three walks, and an error that resulted in six runs. The first run came on an RBI single, followed by an RBI walk, that led to a 2 RBI double, and the 'Chos ended the run with back-to-back RBI sacrifice flies.

In the third inning, UCO scored their final run on a wild pitch. After that, the Eagles' pitching locked in and held the Bronchos scoreless the rest of the way.

The Eagles plated four runs in the fifth inning, and Hill capped the offensive performance with a solo shot in the top of the 7th, cutting the score to 7-5.
