SPEARFISH, Sd- The Oklahoma Christian Men's Basketball Team is traveling all the way up to South Dakota to compete in this year's Lone Star / Rocky Mountain Challenge. The Eagles are slated to take on Black Hills State on Friday, November 10th at 8pm and Metropolitan State on Saturday, November 11th at 5pm.

The Eagles are led by returning senior guards Moun'Tae Edmundson & Karlyn Kenner, who averaged 11.7 pts, 3.5 ast, and 1.4 stl & 10.3 pts, 3.7 ast, and 1.0 stl, respectively.

OC maintains a roster with a lot of depth after adding ECU grad transfer Quinton Johnson II, DI transfer Bryce Kennedy, and incoming freshman Miles Gibson to an already experienced group.

The Eagles look to get their first win in their short history against BHSU after losing a close 80-73 battle at home last year. Their only other meeting was in an OT loss to start the 2021-2022 season.

The Roadrunners are in their second season under head coach Dan Ficke.

MSU Denver is returning nine from last year's roster while bringing in four transfers who were coached by Ficke during his stint at Belmont Abbey (N.C.).

The Roadrunners are returning two of their leading scorers in Brayden Maldonado—last year's RMAC Co-Freshman of the Year—and forward Caleb McGill who averaged 13.8 points and 4.9 rebounds last season.

Around this time last year, the Eagles hosted the Roadrunners and came away with a 80-55 victory. In the win, the Eagles had five players score in double-digits.
