Preview: Eagles Head Down to Ada to Take on the Tigers

ADA, Okla- The Oklahoma Christian Men's Basketball Team is making the short drive down to Ada to continue non-conference play. The game will be played at the Kerr Activities Center on Thursday, November 16th at 7pm. 

Tip Off- November 16th at 7pm

WHAT TO KNOW ABOUT OC 
  • The Eagles are looking to continue their momentum coming out of the South Central Region Crossover after upsetting #13 Black Hills State.
  • Moun'Tae Edmundson, who leads the eagles in scoring, will look to build off of his strong start to the season.
  • Junior center, Jovan Savic, has been impressive as he is nearly averaging a double-double with 11.0 pts and 9.0 boards a game.
  • Keep an eye on Quinton Johnson II (former ECU leading scorer and current OC grad transfer) as he returns home to face the Tigers.
KNOW THE OPPONENT
  • East Central is coached by second year coach, Daniel Wheeler.
  • The Tigers are coming off of a successful season after finishing 18-11 and making it to the GAC Quarterfinals where they fell to Arkansas Tech.
  • Wheeler saw an off-season with lots of turnover, bringing in 11 newcomers to the roster. Keyon Thomas and Godsgift Ezedinma are the Tigers' only returning starters.
  • ECU is coming out of the OBU Classic, where they finished 1-1 to start the season.
