OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla- Oklahoma Christian (14-15, LSC 6-10) closed their season with a home sweep over Midwestern State (4-24, LSC 1-15) Saturday afternoon.
SET ONE
The Eagles came out strong, as they took the early lead, eventually winning the set 25-19. The Eagles saw many individually get in some attacks as OC recorded kills from five different Eagles.
SET TWO
Set two started as a back-and-forth battle, eventually being tied at 11-11 before the Eagles would take control and finish the set winning, 25-17. The Eagles were led this set by Giorgio Turri, who recorded nine kills in set two.
SET THREE
The last set was a battle to the end as the score would get to 21-21 before the Eagles would go on a late run led by seniors Turri and Lily Saenz to finish off the Mustangs with the third set ending 25-22.

Giorgia Turri finished her collegiate career with a bang as she finished the day with 20 kills, a hitting percentage of .341, 1 serving ace, 5 digs, and 21 of the Eagles 61 points. Turri sits 8th in kills in the Lone Star Conference with 281 and an average of 3.35 kills per set. She also sits 4th in points with 343.5. Turri currently holds the number one spot in serving aces with 44.

Lily Saenz makes her presence felt as she records 3 kills, 3 serving aces, 4 digs, and 7 points for her final game as an Eagle.

Brylie Berryman played her last game as the Eagles libero with 5 assists and 23 digs.

Camryn McGough had a great day at the net as she accounted for 6 kills and 4 total blocks. McGough currently sits 6th in the Lone Star Conference with a .336% on 196 kills, she also sits 8th in blocks with 117 and averaging 1.06 blocks a set.

Annie Davis finished off a great sophomore season with 10 kills, 2 blocks, and 11 points. Davis will finish in the top 15 for kills in the Lone Star conference with a total of 302 kills and a 2.96 kills per set average.

Rainey Aven kept her great stretch of play going as she recorded 4 kills, 39 assists, 2 serving aces, and 10 digs.
SENIOR DAY
As the Eagles season came to an end today, so did the careers of four outstanding Eagles; Lily Saenz, Brylie Berryman, Megan Rek, and Giorgia Turri.

Lily Saenz will graduate next week with a Bachelor of Science in Biology with an emphasis in Pre-Med with plans to attend medical school and become a plastic surgeon. Saenz finished her time as an Eagle having played in 160 sets over 64 matches, recording 99 kills, 11 assists, 8 serving aces, 64 digs, 65 total blocks, and 141.5 points.

Brylie Berryman will graduate in the spring with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and plans to attend PA school. Berryman played libero for the Eagles and was a reliable source for the Eagles to rely on, finishing her career playing in 348 sets over 94 matches for the Eagles. She recorded 13 kills, 236 assists, 54 serving aces, 1453 digs, and 67 points.

Megan Rek will graduate in the spring with her Bachelors of Science in Psychology and plans to attend OC to pursue her Master's Degree in Family and Marriage Therapy. Rek has two years of eligibility left and plans to continue playing for the Eagles.

Giorgia Turri transferred this year as a graduate transfer and made an impact for the Eagles from the start. Turri will finish up her MBA in Project Management and plans to go home to Italy. During Turri's time at Grand Canyon and OC she finished her collegiate career with appearing in 172 sets over 58 matches, recording 226 kills, 38 assist, 64 serving aces, 451 digs, 40 blocks, and 511 points.
