OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla- Oklahoma Christian (3-6-6, LSC 2-2-2) hosted the Chaps from Lubbock Christian (4-3-7, LSC 0-2-4) Saturday evening at Eagle Soccer Field. The first time these teams met, it ended in a draw, and this time showed the same result.
WHAT WENT DOWN

Lubbock Christian got on the board early, with Galietero Diez getting one past the OC defense in the second minute of play.

It was a physical game that saw eight yellow cards between the two teams.

OC did not give in as they took 18 shots total, with half of those being on goal.

Midway through the second half, it looked like the Eagles were going to get a goal as the Chaps fouled in the box, and Joep Claassen had the opportunity to score off the penalty. The Chaps goalkeeper, Tom Miles, made an amazing save to keep the lead intact.

Minutes later, Claassen would finally find the back of the net off an assist from John Osadolor Ighede in the 85th minute of play.
