OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. - Men's soccer, coming off a road split, returned to Oklahoma City, the Eagles (2-5-5, LCS 1-1-1) took down the Dustdevils of Texas A&M International (4-4-3, LCS 0-2-1) in a 2-0 victory.

In the first half, Fynn Koerner showed nerves of steel as he had four incredible saves on the goal line, keeping the score tied 0-0.

In the 33rd minute of play, the Eagles were able to break through as Isaias Silva sent in a cross to Alvar Silva to take the 1-0 lead into halftime.

The Eagles' defense held strong in the second half, and they were able to maintain possession and control the late stages of the match.

Late in the half, in the 75th minute of play, Elliott Forestier sent a perfectly placed ball into the net off a free kick to build the lead to 2-0.

As the time kept ticking away, the physicality of the game built up more and more, but the Eagles were able to fight off the late attempts by the Dustdevils.

Silva's goal was the first of his career, and Isaias' assist was his second of the season.

Forestier's goal was the first of his sophomore season, bringing him to second on the team in points with six.
