Dallas, Texas - Oklahoma Christian traveled to Dallas Baptist for their second matchup this season after the Eagles defeated the Patriots in the Nest, 70-67.
DBU opened the first half taking a 15-2 lead before a three from
Drew Tennial, a layup from
Jovan Savic, and a free throw from
Karlyn Kenner cut the lead to 17-8.
The Eagles and Patriots traded baskets until a late run gave DBU a 40-20 lead at the half.
Jovan Savic led the Eagles at the half with 7 points on 3-3 shooting, and
Karlyn Kenner added 5 points and 2 assists while playing all 20 minutes of the first half.
In the second half, Kenner scored 12 of his game-high 17 points, and
Jaden Young, in his first back since December 3rd, chipped in four points for the Eagles in the second half.
