Eagles, Dustdevils comes down to the final minute at Eagle Soccer Field

Oklahoma City, Okla. - Oklahoma Christian returned home after a week on the road to take on Texas A&M International and fell in a heartbreaker.

The Eagles played with a new keeper in today's match as Sarah Albert made her second career start in the goal. Albert played a great game in goal with four saves and saved the initial game-winning goal attempt, but the deflection found a TAMIU trailer who punched in a put-back goal.

The Dustdevils opened the scoring on a breakaway in the 5th minute, but the Eagles battled back and Manon Ceresola scored her second goal of the season in the 35th minute. OC came out and dominated at the start of the second half, and Brooklyn Fink gave them a 2-1 lead in the 49th minute on her first goal of the season.

TAMIU went on to score in the 81st and the 88th minute, on the aforementioned goal. In the 87th minute, Ceresola looked to have, at the time, the go-ahead goal on a shot that looked destined for the back of the net, but the keeper made a diving save to punch the ball over the crossbar.

Oklahoma Christian will hit the road to take on Dallas Baptist, before returning home next Saturday for Senior Day.
