OKLAHOMA CITY (Aug. 17, 2021) – Former Oklahoma Baptist All-America swimmer
Juliana Cifuentes has joined the Oklahoma Christian coaching staff as a graduate assistant, OC head coach
Josh Davis said Tuesday.
Cifuentes, from Paipa, Colombia, starred for the Bison from 2016 to 2020. She earned NCAA Division II All-America honors in 2019 by finishing sixth in the 100-yard breaststroke in the national meet. She won Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference titles in both the 100 breaststroke and 200 breaststroke that year and the 2018 RMAC title in the 200 breaststroke and 400 medley relay.
She will join an OC coaching staff that includes Davis, assistant coach
Noah Yanchulis and another graduate assistant,
Emmabeth Jensen.
