COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (March 4, 2021) – For a fifth straight semester, Oklahoma Christian's women's swimming team has earned Scholar All-America status from the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America.

To make the list for the fall 2020 semester, a team had to post a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or higher for the semester and have 12 or more student-athletes.  OC's squad, coached by Josh Davis, posted a cumulative GPA of 3.57 during the semester. In NCAA Division II, 77 teams qualified for the honor and OC ranked 29th among those programs.

Nine of OC's 18 swimmers recorded a perfect 4.0 GPA for the fall semester. Team members included Gabrealla Badillo, Savanna Barth, Jaiden Branstrom, Eden Chiu-Pinheiro, Jillian Contich, Maggie Farley, Heidi Fritscher, Grace Hill, Hope Hill, Hannah Matula, Jamie McGarrigle, Kayci McKinnon, Mallory Mead, Cheyenne Parks, Riley Powelson, Andrea Rogers, Olivia Rollen and Hailey Webster.

Founded in 1922, the CSCAA – the first organization of college coaches in America – is a professional organization of college swimming and diving coaches dedicated to serving and providing leadership for the advancement of the sport of swimming and diving at the collegiate level.
