CLAREMORE, Okla. (March 13, 2021) – Rogers State scored a pair of first-half goals and rode them all the way to a 2-0 win over Oklahoma Christian in a nonconference women's soccer match on Saturday afternoon at Soldier Field.
Rogers State (2-0) took the lead in the 21st minute over OC (0-5) on a goal by Audrey Maxwell and the Hillcats went up 2-0 when Maxwell assisted on a goal by Kori Watters in the 34th minute.

Gabby Goddard was credited with four saves and blanked the Hillcats in the second half.
The Eagles will play consecutive matches against Lone Star Conference rival Midwestern State (Texas) during the next week. The first match, on Wednesday, will be at home and won't count in the LSC standings. The second match, on Saturday in Wichita Falls, Texas, will be considered a league game.
