OKLAHOMA CITY (May 22, 2020) – Three incoming Oklahoma Christian women's soccer players have been recognized on the annual Oklahoma Soccer Coaches Association's All-State teams, which honor the top senior high school soccer players in the state.
Making the Class 6A West All-State team were midfielder
Grace Cornelius and goalkeeper
Ashlee Jackson, both from Mustang, where they were coached by current OC assistant coach
Lindsay Riggs. Mustang reached the 6A title game in both 2018 and 2019.
Defender
Ryan Ackerman of Edmond Memorial made the 6A East All-State list.
The OSCA has cancelled its All-State games, usually played during the summer months, due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Most of the Oklahoma prep soccer season also was cancelled due to the pandemic.
Ackerman, Cornelius and Jackson all signed in November to play at OC for coach
Meagan Anderson.
