OKLAHOMA CITY (Nov. 8, 2020) – Three players who began competing for Oklahoma Christian's new Esports team during the spring semester have returned to compete on the Eagles' Rocket League team for the 2020-21 season, according to OC coach
Lucas Hayworth.
Rocket League is a video game played like soccer, but with rocket-powered cars. It can be played as either a single-player game or multiplayer games. OC will primarily compete in three-on-three games in Rocket League.
The three returning from the spring to make up the 2020-21 roster are
Terry Renyer, a sophomore from Mustang;
Shane Wehe, a sophomore from Kemah, Texas; and
Joshua Murray, a senior from Houston, Texas.
