OKLAHOMA CITY (July 18, 2021) – Jared "Hound" Pickens, a member of the Winthrop team that won the Rocket League title in the 2021 Collegiate Esports National Championship, has transferred to Oklahoma Christian, where he will continue his Esports career, OC coach Lucas Hayworth said Sunday.

Pickens, from Plano, Texas, also played on the Winthrop team that also won the Big South Conference title in Esports. Hayworth called Pickens a "massive legend" in Rocket League and said his addition to the OC roster is a major move for a program entering only its second season of existence.

"I am looking forward to the extreme growth all around," Hayworth said.
