DALLAS (Sept. 26, 2019) – For a half, Oklahoma Christian's defense locked down and kept the Eagles even with No. 19 Dallas Baptist (Texas), but the Patriots scored twice early in the second half and held on for a 2-0 win at the Patriot Soccer Field.
Dallas Baptist (4-0-1, 1-0 Lone Star Conference) didn't break through against OC (0-6, 0-1) until the 47th minute, when Abigail Olmos scored an unassisted goal. About six minutes later, Kaci Parks connected off an assist from Gabrielle Heller to put the Patriots ahead 2-0.
DBU outshot the Eagles 21-2.

Catharina Ribeiro took the shots for OC, while goalkeeper
Gabby Goddard made six saves. DBU goalkeeper Hope Koym made two saves.
The Eagles will return to action Saturday at 3 p.m. at another LSC foe, Texas Woman's.
