OKLAHOMA CITY (Sept. 12, 2019) – Former Oklahoma Christian women's soccer players
Michell Fuentes and
Kylee Ingalls will work on the Eagles' coaching staff this season, OC head coach
Meagan Anderson said Thursday.
Fuentes, from Oax, Mexico, will serve as an assistant coach. She spent three seasons in the OC program as a defender after transferring from Universidad Autonoma de Chihuahua.
She played in 20 games (all starts) for the Eagles, scoring two goals (including a game-winner against Rogers State) with an assist as a junior in 2016, redshirting in 2017 and appearing eight games last season before suffering a season-ending injury.
Ingalls, from Buhler, Kan., will work as a student assistant after playing in the midfield for OC the past three seasons. She scored three goals as a freshman in 2016, including a game-winner against East Central in her first collegiate game. She had one goal in 2017 before an injury ended her season after only seven games and appeared in three games last season.
They join Anderson and returning assistant coach
Lindsay Riggs on the OC staff.
