CANYON, Texas (Nov. 2, 2019) – West Texas A&M won its fourth straight soccer game, beating Oklahoma Christian 10-0 on Saturday at The Pitch.
West Texas A&M (9-6, 8-3 Lone Star Conference) moved into a tie for fourth in the LSC standings while outshooting OC (2-14, 2-9) by a 38-7 count.
Khaline Jacobs had three goals and two assists for the Buffaloes, while Hannah Duffy added two goals.
Brianna Concienne took three of OC's seven shots. OC goalkeeper
Gabby Goddard made 12 saves in 62½ minutes of work, while
Paulina Dziubek had two saves in 27½ minutes in her second appearance of the season. The combined 14 saves were the most by a team in a Lone Star game this season.
West Texas A&M goalkeeper Daniela Estrada had two saves in 75 minutes, while her backup, Natasha Worm, had none in the remaining 15 minutes.
OC will close its season with a pair of home games next week, on Thursday against Texas-Tyler and Saturday against Texas A&M-Commerce.
