Box Score OKLAHOMA CITY (Oct. 20, 2015) – Texas Woman's rallied from a halftime deficit and pulled away for a 4-1 nonconference win over Oklahoma Christian on Tuesday night at the Eagle Soccer Field.
OC, playing at home for the first time in 17 days, led 1-0 at halftime on the strength of a chip-in goal by sophomore
Chelsea Key, but Texas Woman's (7-5-2) tied the game less than four minutes into the second half, took the lead in the 70th minute and tacked on two late goals for the final margin.
Key, one of OC's starting defenders, OC (4-8-2) with a boost just six seconds before halftime with her first career goal. The play started with a corner kick by
Madeline Roseke, and the ball eventually found its way to Rubí Villegas Aguilar, who was covered by two defenders. She tapped the ball to Key, who chipped it high and over the outstretched arms of Texas Woman's goalkeeper Ariana Morrison.
After halftime, the Pioneers quickly answered. Rachel Peters tapped in a cross from Ashley Bishop from about 10 yards out in the 49th minute to tie the game. Natalia Torres Diaz slammed home a free kick from 20 yards to put Texas Woman's ahead.
OC found it difficult to generate much offense, as Texas Woman's outshot the Lady Eagles 31-8. The Pioneers broke through for two late goals, by Gabby Larson in the 85th minute and Nancy Chavez in the 87th minute.

Carina Schanz made seven saves, while Morrison was credited with three saves.
The Lady Eagles' final two games of the season will be against Heartland Conference foes, both at home. OC will host Rogers State on Saturday afternoon and Newman (Kan.) on Oct. 31.
