Scoring early, the Oklahoma Christian Lady Eagles shut out Oklahoma Wesleyan University 5-0 in an intersectional matchup here Sept. 7.
OC, with freshman Kristin Brown and sophomore Rachel Wrinkle each scoring a pair of goals, improved its record to 2-3.
Brown, scored the Lady Eagles' first goal in the eighth minute of play after taking a pass from junior Megan Childers. Childers followed suit with a goal of her own in the 15th minute, with an assist from Wrinkle.
Wrinkle got on the scorebook with her first goals of the season. She scored in the 24th minute and 44th minute to build a 4-0 lead at halftime. Brown came back to score OC's final goal in the first minute of the second half, again after taking a pass from Childers.
