The Oklahoma Christian University women's soccer team notched its first win of the season defeating the Friends University (Kan.) Falcons 2-1 Tuesday, Aug. 30.
The Lady Eagles were highlighted by sophomore midfielder Taryn Caylor, who scored both Lady Eagle goals in the victory.
Caylor's first goal came at the 12:13 mark of the first half off an assist from junior Rachel Wrinkle. Caylor completed the OC scoring on the night with her second goal coming at the 29:53 mark of half number two. The goal was assisted by senior midfielder Megan Childers.
The Lady Falcons' lone goal came at the 24:06 mark of the second half from mid-fielder Alicia Farinola. The Lady Eagles' next contest will be Thursday, Sept. 1 when they visit Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, Okla.
