A pair of Lindsey Gipson scores helped OC to its first lead at 4-2 in the opening two minutes.

But SNU came back with a 15-5 run to grab a 17-9 edge by the 10:56 point. The Crimson Storm did not trail again.

Danielle Cox scored a driving basket with 8:41 on the clock to pull the Lady Eagles within eight, a Crimson Storm charge ensued again though. This time a 9-2 run took the lead to 28-13 with 7:28 left.

SNU took the lead to its largest of the half at 18 on a Mara Kee trey with 4:04 left. OC clawed back though and brought the deficit back to 15 on Kailan DeCamp's three-pointer with 1:53 left.

SNU led 37-22 at halftime.

DeCamp hit another triple just 15 seconds into the second half to make it 37-25.

SNU reassumed a 15-point edge, before a 9-0 OC run cut the lead into single digits. Haley Myers made it an eight-point game with a three-pointer at the 15:13 mark, then Danielle Cox scored to make it 43-37 at 13:14.

Nine consecutive Crimson Storm followed however to give SNU another 15-point lead. OC pulled within 10 on a Charlotte Heron score with 5:44 left, but would come no closer as SNU won by 14.

DeCamp and Gipson led OC with 10 points apiece. Heron grabbed a team-high eight rebounds.

SNU's Kinzie Glover led all scorers with 11 points, while Kee, Tejana Elmore and Lana Keith each had 10 for the Crimson Storm.

The loss was just OC's third in its last seven meetings with SNU. The Crimson Storm has taken the last three games however. SNU won 74-72 on Dec. 4 in Bethany.
