The Oklahoma Christian University men's soccer team started the 2007 season with a 0-0, double-overtime draw with Friends University Aug. 30. Both Oklahoma Christian and Friends are now 0-0-1.
The Eagles and Falcons played a scoreless half, with both defenses stealing the show. Eagle sophomore Tyler Brady provided OC's closest scoring opportunity when his shot at 5:30 in the second stanza banged off the left post, leaving the contest scoreless.
OC senior goalkeeper Bryan Cochrum recorded his ninth career shutout with a seven-save performance over the 110 minutes played.
The all-time series between the two schools is now 9-2-1 in favor of OC.
The Eagles get just one day off before returning the pitch for a 7 p.m. matchup at the OC Soccer Field against Huston-Tillotson University (Texas) Saturday night.
