Oklahoma Christian University defeated Oklahoma City University 75-72 at home Feb. 7 to move into a four-way tie for third place in the Sooner Athletic Conference. The Eagles are now 16-6 overall and 6-5 in league play.

Late game heroics by Jarred Merrill, Brady Page and Keith Harris capped an outstanding performance by the Eagles.

In the final minute of play, back-to-back scoring drives by Page a pair of free throws by Harris and final free throw by Page nailed down the hard fought win.

Merrill led the Eagles with his 19th double-double of the season, scoring 28 points and pulling in 13 rebounds. Freshman Charles Baldwin, connecting on three of four from three-point range, finished with 15. Page and Harris each scored nine points and Kory Allen had eight.
