Teresa DeBoard joined OC athletics as the assistant athletic director for student-athlete well-being and senior woman administrator in December 2013, after spending almost 13 years working in the university’s admissions office.
DeBoard guides OC’s new life skills program for student-athletes. Among her duties are working as an athletic academic advisor, monitoring in-class grades, arranging for tutoring for student-athletes if necessary and serving as a liaison between the athletic department and the university’s academic community.
She also is responsible for community engagement activities, an area that is key to the university in its effort to build a quality NCAA Division II athletic program.
DeBoard, originally from Del City, graduated from OC in 2000. She began working at OC in March 2001 and served as the university’s director of admissions operations immediately before moving across campus to the athletic department.
She and her husband, Scott, live in Edmond and have a son, Sam. Her brother is OC’s intramural director, Rick Judd.
