As Oklahoma Christian UniversityAthletics names and organizes its
commitment to The Kingdom Way, the department has added a new voice to help carry it:
Caleb Panter has joined OC Athletics as Spiritual Formation Coach.
Caleb's addition is part of a larger step for OC's Office of Spiritual Life, which has brought
on both Caleb and his wife, Addi, as new members of its team. Caleb is focusing his time
inside the athletic department; Addi is working to build discipleship and worship culture
campus-wide.

For Caleb, the role is a homecoming. He played basketball at OC, where he earned his
business degree, before returning to coach in the program under legendary, Hall of Fame
Coach Dan Hays — an experience that gave him a front-row seat to what it feels like for an
athlete to build an identity around performance, and what it costs when that identity has
nowhere else to stand. He went on to earn his J.D. from Oklahoma City University.

In the years since, Caleb's path has run through vocational ministry and school leadership:
as Senior High Dean of Students at Greater Atlanta Christian School, as Executive Pastor
at Campus Church of Christ in Atlanta, as a consultant with Future Church Co. helping
people and organizations discover their God-given purpose, and as Pastor of Vision and
Development at Fellowship Bible Church in Dallas. That combination — athlete, coach,
pastor — is exactly what OC Athletics was looking for.

Addi is an OC graduate and a worship leader in her own right. She has served as a coach
with the 10,000 Fathers and Mothers Worship School and most recently worked with
Shane & Shane's The Worship Initiative in Dallas before coming to OC.
Together, Caleb and Addi founded The Pantry Group, a coaching and leadership
development company built on the conviction that nourished people nourish people —
and they're bringing that same conviction to Oklahoma Christian.
