- Vanessa attended and swam at Smithson Valley High School
- Regional Champ for 50/100 freestyle 2023, District athlete 2022/2023, Regional Athlete 2023, State Championship qualifier 2022/2023 - A finalist 2023, 2nd place finish in 4x100 freestyle relay at 2023 State, high school record holder in 50 free, 200 Medley Relay and 4x100 freestyle relay.
