- Sofia is a communication major-focusing on public relations and social media from Monterrey, Mexico.
- Sofia's all time favorite course is Pinehurst 2.
- Sofia future goals include becoming a cycling instructor; play on the LPGA tour; and own a big house and have as many dogs as she wants.
- Sofia's go-to road trip snack is Sun Chips and bananas.
- The people most important to Sofia are her mom, dad and two brothers.
- Growing up Sofia was inspired by Maria Fassi and Tiger Woods.

- Sofia played in nine tournaments for the Eagles.
- Including four Top-20 finishes, one Top-10, and recording her first collegiate win.

- Sofia played in nine tournaments for the Eagles

- Attended Tecnologico de Monterrey.
- During her golf career before college Sofia played and had lots of success on the American Junior Golf Association Tour
- Three top-20 finishes in 2020
- Represented Mexico in 2017 at the Teen Van Horn Cup.

- Shot a 69 in one round of the RJGA Palm Valley Classic in 2023.
- Has a 3rd place finish at the Midwestern State Invitational in 2021.
