Sarah Harper, a former All-America player for Oklahoma Christian, will enter her third season on the OC women’s golf staff and her second as a graduate assistant coach in 2015-16.
Harper, from Duncan, has been involved with the Lady Eagles’ squad since the program debuted in the 2011-12 academic year.
As a player, she competed for two seasons for OC. She received honorable mention on the NAIA All-America list as a junior in 2012, then helped the Lady Eagles to a runner-up finish at the National Christian College Athletic Association Invitational as a senior while earning All-Heartland Conference second-team honors. She posted a stroke average of 77.8 during her two seasons at OC.
During the 2013-14 season, she served as a student assistant coach for the Lady Eagles. She graduated with her bachelor’s degree in April 2014 and now is working toward a master’s degree at OC.
