An All-American at both the NAIA and NCAA Division I levels, former Oklahoma Christian standout Frezer Legesse started as an OC assistant cross country coach in the fall of 2015.

Legesse, 26, continues to run competitively. In 2016, he reached the 1,500-meter semifinals in the U.S. Olympic Track and Field Trials in Eugene, Ore.

His younger brother, Fraol Legesse, is a former player for OC’s men’s soccer team.
