Accounting/Finance major … Newcomer who made an immediate impact on OC’s 4x400-meter relay team … Has career-best times of 49.98 seconds in the 400 meters, 21.43 seconds in the 200 meters, 10.57 seconds in the 100 meters and 6.98 seconds in the 60 meters … 2017: NCAA Division II All-America selection in the indoor 4x400-meter relay … All-South Central Region in the indoor 4x400-meter relay … All-Great American Conference champion in the 4x400 relay … First-team All-GAC selection in the 4x400 relay, 4x100 relay and 200 meters … Ran the anchor leg on OC’s record-setting 4x400 relay team … Co-school-record holder in the indoor 200 meters … During indoor season, ran at 60 meters and 200 meters … Won his second career 200-meter race, finishing in 22.28 seconds at the Missouri Southern Open, part of a 1-2-3-4 finish by OC runners that included Brown, Sawyer Pehkonen, Elijah Sherrill and Joshua Jones … Also at that meet, ran season-best 60 time of 6.98 seconds … Matched Damon Sims’ OC record in the 200, finishing in 21.72 seconds in the Arkansas Qualifier, meeting the D-2 indoor provisional standard … Also at the Arkansas meet, teamed with Pehkonen, Landon Huslig and Jones to lower OC’s 4x400 relay record to 3:13.10 … At the NCAA Division II Indoor Championships in Birmingham, Ala., teams with Pekonen, Huslig and Jones to finish sixth in the 4x400 relay in school-record time of 3:12.73, securing All-America honors and again lowering OC’s school record … During outdoor season, competed in the 100 meters and 200 meters … In his first outdoor meet, the Oklahoma Baptist Invitational, won the 200 meters in 21.84 seconds, was third in the 100 in 10.87 seconds and second in the 4x100 relay in 42.25 seconds … Best 100 time was a wind-aided 10.57-second clocking in the Friends Invitational … At the GAC Championships in Searcy, Ark., teams with Pehkonen, Huslig and Jones to win the 4x400 relay in 3:14.18 … Was third in the 4x100 relay in 41.44 seconds, running the anchor leg on a quartet that included Austin Kruzich, Elijah Sherrill and Grant Smith … Placed second in the 200 meters in 21.62 seconds … Earned first-team All-GAC honors in all three events … Posted season-best 200 time of 21.43 seconds in the Oxy Invitational, meeting the D-2 provisional qualifying standard … Previous school: Attended The Colony High School … As a senior, qualified for Class 5A region meet in the 200, 4x100 relay and 4x200 relay … Won a 5A area title in the 4x200 (1:27.61) … His 21.62-second time in the 200 ranks as the second-fastest in school history and he holds school records in the 4x100 and 4x200 relays.
