Biography
- OVERVIEW
- Said is a MBA student from Edmond, OK.
- Said favorite golf course to play is Oak Tree National.
- Said's goal for his last year is to finish as an Academic All-American and finish his MBA.
- Said's go-to road trip snacks are a Diet Coke and Cheez-It's.
- Why OC?
- "There are several factors that led to me choosing to come to OC, but most importantly I wanted to be at a place where winning wasn't a dream but an expectation. Ultimately, I wanted to be at a place that would contend for a national championship year in and year out. That, along with the great coaches and practice facilities, made my decision quite simple."
- 2021-22
- In Said's junior year he played in one tournament for the Eagles.
- 2020-21
- In Said's sophomore he played in three tournaments and started in two of them.
- 2019-20
- During his freshman year at OC, Said played in five tournaments and started in three for the Eagles.
- In his collegiate debut at the Great American Conference Preview played at the Lake Hefner Golf Course, Said fired off a 66-69-75 (210) to finish in 3rd place.
- In the next week at the Missouri Southern Fall Invitational played at the Shangri-La Golf Course, Said competed as an individual shooting a 68-73 (141) to finish tied for 7th.
- Said also claimed a Top-15 finish at The Jerry Hrnciar Invitational played at The Territory Golf Course in Duncan, OK.
- The Spring season was then canceled because of COVID.
- HIGH SCHOOL
- Said attended and played for Oklahoma Christian Schools in Edmond, OK.
- In 2019, Said was apart of the team to finish runner- up at the 2A State Title.
- Finishing 10th individually and earning Oklahoma Coaches Association All-State honors
- Said also received honorable mention on The Oklahoman's All-City list.
- In 2018, Said was apart of the team to win the Class 2A State Champions.
- Said finished 12th individually
- and was a honorable mention on The Oklahoman's All-City list.
- In 2017, Said was apart of the team to win the Class 3A State Championship.
- Said received honorable mentions for The Oklahoman's All-City list.
- Said also had success as a junior golfer on several different junior tours.
