  • OVERVIEW 

    • Megan is a nursing major from Grapevine, Tx 

    • Arendse swims 50, 100, 200 backstroke 

    • After Arendse finishes school she will return to Tx and be an Emergency department registered nurse.

    • Megan go to road trip snack is Gardettos mix and sweet tart ropes 

    • The people most important to Megan are Mom, Dad, siblings (Jordyn, Ian and Gavin) Growing up Megan was inspired by Missy Franklin, Nathan Adrian, Carli Lloyd 

    • Why OC?

      • “OC has an amazing nursing program and a continually growing swim program both I wanted to be a part of.”

    • Megan swam in 11 meets 

    • Placed 15th at RMAC conference championships in 100 backstroke with career best

    • Placed 14th at RMAC conference championships in 200 backstroke with career best 

  • 2021-22 

    • Megan swam in 7 meets 

    • Placed 7th 100 backstroke at eagle invitational 

    • Placed 7th in 200 back at eagle invitational 

    • Placed 5th 200 back at Sam Freas invite

    • Placed 4th in the 200 back at Drury invite

  • HIGH SCHOOL 

    • Megan attended and swam at Grapevine High school 

    • Captain Juinor and Seinor year

    • Finished 2nd overall at regionals in 100 backstroke senior year
