EDMOND, Okla. - For the third time in as many meetings, Oklahoma Christian and Drury finished in a tie as a 90' goal from the Panthers capped Wednesday night with a 1-1 draw from Eagles Soccer Field.
What Went Down
- Only a handful of shot attempts on goal from either side highlighted the first half as teams went into the locker room at a standstill, 0-0.
- For the third match this season, Ethan Nakolo put OC on the board first with a penalty-kick goal after drawing a foul in the box at the 58:07 mark.
- A feisty Drury team was kept at bay for the majority of the match until all 11 players got their hand in a last-ditch free kick in the 90' that ricocheted off several players before sneaking in past OC's goalkeeper for the game-tying goal.
