HOUSTON, Texas - The No. 24 Oklahoma Christian women's bowling team headed down south to the Lone Star State to bowl the Track Kat Klash hosted by Sam Houston State University for their NCAA regular season opener on Oct. 31- Nov. 2. 
Day One 
OC would start the Kat Klash bowling five baker matches, facing three top 10 teams in the process going 2-3 on the day. The Lady Eagles would bowl a pinfall total of 4590 for the five matches, giving them an average of 183.6. 
Match 1: OC - 865 vs No. 7 North Carolina A&T - 873
Match 2: OC - 874 vs Southern University - 780
Match 3: OC - 982 vs Jackson State - 833
Match 4: OC - 947 vs No. 8 Sam Houston - 986
Match 5: OC - 922 vs No. 9 Louisiana Tech - 1042
Day Two 
Oklahoma Christian would bowl five traditional matches as they faced one team in the top 20 going 3-1 on the day and having a bye to start the day off. OC would finish qualifying in sixth after the five team games, led by senior Jaymie Burrow, who averaged 197.4 on the day.

Match 2: OC - 939 vs No. 19 Tulane University - 863 
Match 3: OC - 884 vs Newman University - 922 
Match 4: OC - 934 vs Texas Southern - 858
Match 5: OC - 952 vs Prairie View A&M - 593
Day Three 
The Lady Eagles would face off against a familiar foe in the Newman University Jets in a best of seven baker matchplay. Unfortunately, Oklahoma Christian would fall to the Jets 4-1 as they would finish the Track Kat Klash in sixth place in the 13-team field. 
Next Up
OC will head back down to the Lone Star State to bowl the Bulldog Classic hosted by Louisiana Tech in Fort Worth, Texas Nov. 7-9.
