LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The No. 24 Oklahoma Christian women's bowling team headed out east to the Bluegrass State as they bowled the DII Thanksgiving Invite in Louisville, Ky. hosted by Lewis University Nov. 21-23.Â
Day OneÂ
OC would start the Thanksgiving Invite bowling five baker matches, coming away with very convincing wins over their opponents as they would go 4-0 on the day, bowling a pinfall total of 4626.Â

Day TwoÂ
The Lady Eagles would bowl five team games for the second day of competition. Thanks to the help of senior Rhiannon Davis and junior Matlyn Warner, OC was able to bowl a pinfall total of 5146 and go 4-1 in their five matches which included a win over No. 13 Wisconsin Whitewater.
Davis came away with the Tournament MVP as she led the individual standings after averaging 221.6 with Warner coming in at third averaging 211.6, garnering All-Tournament team honors.Â

Day ThreeÂ
Oklahoma Christian started the day off bowling one baker match before heading into match play. Thanks to its top notch bowling, OC was able to snag a win over Lewis to extend its record to 9-1 for the weekend and qualify first heading into match play.
Match 1 OC - 1016 vs Lewis University - 996
The Lady Eagles would bowl two rounds of match play in a best four out of seven series. In round one they would face off against fourth-seeded Central Missouri and unfortunately lose in eight games.Â
Match 1 OC - 3.5 vs Central Missouri - 4.5
In round two of match play, Oklahoma Christian would bowl the second-seeded Newman Jets, this time coming out on the winning side, beating Newman in six games to finish the tournament in third place in the 11 team field.Â

OC will head up north to Chicago, Ill., to bowl the Kegel Collegiate Classic on Jan. 17-18 to open their spring semester schedule.
