DENTON, Texas - No. 19 Women's golf traveled to Denton to compete at the DBU Women's Classic at Wildhorse Golf Club at Robson Ranch. OC finished the three-round tournament in 10th with a total of 898 (+34).
Maria Torres finished tied for 2nd individually with a three-round total of 210 (-6).
Oklahoma Christian shot an opening round 304 on Sunday and improved to shoot 297 on Monday and Tuesday.
Sophomore
Maria Torres went 71-69-70 to finish the tournament 6-under and tied for 2nd place overall.
Sofia Benavides jumped 17 spots in the 3rd round carding an even par round, finishing the tournament 8-over par 224. Benavides finished tied for 37th.
Haley Blevins shot 77-74-81 232 to finish tied for 62nd, and Freshman
Susana Granados finished tied for 67th with 80-81-75 236.
Rounding out the Eagles lineup was Abbey Lynn, who finished tied for 79th with a 240 (82-78-80).

The Lady Eagles have a week off competition before traveling to Amarillo, Texas, to play at the Tascosa Golf Club in the West Texas A&M Fall Invitational on October 2nd and 3rd.
