Wichita Falls, Texas - Women's golf headed down to the Wichita Falls Country Club for the Midwestern State Invitational, hosted by Midwestern State.

The Eagles took fourth place out of nine teams, shooting 312, 305, and 316 for a combined score of 933 (+69) over their three rounds. Dallas Baptist took first place as a team shooting 38-over par, but OC was in a battle with Angelo State (+60) and Texas A&M International (+65) over the two-day tournament.

Haley Blevins led Oklahoma Christian with a three-way individual tie for fourth place. Blevins shot 76, 77, and 76 for a total of 229 (+13). Blevins had the 7th most birdies in the field with six over her two days of play.

Sofia Benavides and
Wilma Merenmies each tied for 11th at 234 (+18), and Merenmies shot the low round of the tournament for OC, with a 75 in her second round. Wilma also had the 6th most birdies in the tournament with six over her three rounds.

Alex Bennett shot 80, 77, and 71, to tie for 20th at 238, and
Sarah Sherrard rounded out the top five for Oklahoma Christian shooting a three-round total of 242. Sherrard was one of two players in the field to have an eagle in the 54-hole tournament.
