WICHITA FALLS, Texas - Oklahoma Christian men's soccer advanced to the Lone Star Conference Semifinals for the second consecutive season, and this time, it led to a matchup with the regular season conference champs, No. 2 Midwestern State.

What Went Down
- The Eagles came out and set the tone with their physical style of play, resulting in two early yellows.
- Isaias Silva looked to add to his postseason goals with a shot in the 16th minute, but the Mustangs keeper was able to keep it out of the back of the net.
- Fynn Koerner had another great game between the sticks, making five saves, including two late in the first half.
- OC came out strong in the second half, and John Ighede was able to put another shot on frame, forcing another MSU save.
- Koerner made two saves on shots in the 58th and 62nd minute to keep the score level.
- Jacob Carter fired a shot to the top of the frame, but Midwestern's keeper was able to clear the threat.
- Midwestern State scored the lone goal of the match after an attacker dove in the box on a 50/50 ball with Joep Claassen but was able to draw the foul, and Midwestern State scored on the penalty that went on to be the game-winner.
Notes
- The Eagles concluded another strong season, making it to the LSC Championships for the first time in back-to-back seasons.
- Oklahoma Christian saw several players earn top conference accolades, including earning the Lone Star Conference Freshman of the Year that was earned by Ellis Jones.
- OC boasted a young squad that has had an excellent foundation laid and will look to build on that next fall.
