Pulcini to play in the Latin America Amateur Championship for an invite to the Masters

Rio Grande, Puerto Rico - Mateo Pulcini, a junior from Rio Cuarto, Argentina, coming off the Patriot All-American invite, has been invited to play in the Latin America Amateur Championship (LAAC) on January 12th-15th at the Grand Reserve Golf Club in Puerto Rico.

ABOUT THE LAAC

"The 108-player field is comprised annually of the top male amateurs in Latin America representing the 29 IOC-recognized countries and territories from this region that are current members of the International Golf Federation.

The champion receives an invitation to compete in the Masters Tournament at Augusta National Golf Club and an exemption into The Open. The winner also receives full exemptions into The Amateur Championship, U.S. Amateur Championship, and any other USGA amateur championship for which he is eligible and is exempt into the final stage of qualifying for the U.S. Open Championship. Runner(s)-up will be exempt into the final stages of qualifying for The Open and the U.S. Open Championship."

An exemption into the final stages of qualifying for the 123rd U.S. Open Championship at Los Angeles Country Club.
