AULANGO, Finland (July 25, 2021) – Camilla Jarvela, a rising sophomore golfer at Oklahoma Christian, has won the under-21 Finnish Match Play Championship.

Jarvela, from Espoo, Finland, beat Matilda Svahnin of Virvik, Finland, 4 and 3 in the title match on Friday at Aulanko Golf. Jarvela closed the match strong, playing her final five holes of match in 4-under-par to earn her first Finnish match-play title.

Jarvela competed in seven events for OC during the 2020-21 season, posting a stroke average of 75.50 over 18 rounds. She posted four top-10 finishes and was the individual runner-up in the NCAA Division II West Super Regional, which qualified her as an individual for the NCAA Division II Championship.
