Alyssa Wilson moved into the title match in the President's Flight of the Women's Oklahoma Golf Association State Amateur Championship.
Playing at The Territory Golf and Country Club, Wilson – a rising sophomore from Yukon – downed her former high school teammate, top-seeded Ashlyn Acosta, 3 and 2 in a semifinal match in the tournament's second-highest bracket. Acosta now is a freshman at Redlands Community College in El Reno.
In the other semifinal, 10th-seeded Kim Bell of Norman knocked off third-seeded Lily Stanton, a rising junior at Jenks High School, in 19 holes.
The fourth-seeded Wilson will face Bell in the title match on Thursday at 9 a.m.
Wilson played in four tournaments for OC during the 2020-21 season, recording a scoring average of 80.22 over nine rounds. She tied for seventh in the West Texas A&M Fall Invitational in Amarillo, Texas, in October, which was her first collegiate top-10 finish.
