OKLAHOMA CITY (Oct. 12, 2021) – Oklahoma Christian will host its men's soccer alumni during the Eagles' home game on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. against Lubbock Christian (Texas).
First-year OC coach
Mitchell Sowerby organized the event as a way to recognize the program's alumni, to encourage them to stay connected with the Eagles and to see OC's new soccer building, located adjacent to the Eagle Soccer Field. The first 75 alumni who attend will receive a T-shirt and a group picture will be taken at halftime of the game.
"This game is one of the first steps I want to take to continue to build up the tradition and culture of this program," Sowerby said. "Reconnecting with former players is an important aspect of my coaching philosophy."
OC is in its 36th season of men's soccer, having first fielded a team in the sport in 1986.
