New SAAC officers, representatives for 2020-21 announced

Serving as OC SAAC officers for 2020-21 will be (clockwise from upper left) Reese Gorman (president) of men's golf, Ansel Jeffries (vice president) of men's track and field, Andrew Assaleh (treasurer) of men's swimming and Kali Crandall (secretary) of softball.
OKLAHOMA CITY (Sept. 3, 2020) – New officers have been elected and representatives appointed for the 2020-21 academic year for Oklahoma Christian's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.

Serving as OC SAAC officers in 2020-21 will be Chair/President Reese Gorman of men's golf, Vice Chair/Vice President Ansel Jeffries of men's track and field, Secretary Kali Crandall of softball and Treasurer Andrew Assaleh of men's swimming.

The SAAC consists of two representatives from each of OC's NCAA sports – men's and women's soccer, men's and women's cross country, women's volleyball, men's and women's golf, men's and women's swimming, men's and women's basketball, men's and women's track and field, baseball and softball. Its sponsor is Teresa DeBoard, OC's assistant athletic director for student-athlete well-being and senior woman administrator.

The SAAC's mission is to enhance the total student-athlete experience by developing student-athlete leadership skills, promoting student-athlete welfare and developing student-athletes athletically, academically and spiritually. By doing so, the SAAC will foster a positive student-athlete image on the Oklahoma Christian campus and at local, community, state and national levels.
