Tournaments in Nevada, Arizona highlight OC women’s golf spring schedule

OKLAHOMA CITY (Nov. 9, 2020) – Trips to tournaments in Nevada and Arizona are on the Oklahoma Christian women's golf schedule for the spring portion of the 2020-21 season, announced Monday by coach Greg Lynn.

The Eagles will open the spring season on March 8-9 at Stallion Mountain Golf Club in Las Vegas in the Warrior Invitational, to be hosted by Winona State (Minn.), kicking off a stretch of three tournaments in as many weeks.

On March 15-16, OC will travel to Wichita Falls, Texas, for the Midwestern State Invitational at Wichita Falls Country Club, which has become an annual event on the Eagles' schedule. The next week, on March 22-23, the Eagles will play for the first time in the Lion Invitational, to be hosted by Texas A&M-Commerce at Trophy Club Country Club in Trophy Club, Texas.

OC will play in a Friday-Saturday tournament on April 2-3, the Palm Valley Classic at Palm Valley Golf Club in Goodyear, Ariz. Western New Mexico will be the tournament host.

The Lone Star Conference Championship tournament is scheduled for April 12-14 at Texas Rangers Golf Club in Arlington, Texas.

Should the Eagles qualify for the NCAA Division II postseason, the West Super Regional tournament will be played May 3-5 in Denton, Texas, at Wildhorse Golf Club at Robson Ranch. OC played its fall season opener on that course.

The NCAA Division II Championship tournament is scheduled for May 11-15 at TPC Michigan in Dearborn, Mich. OC qualified for the national tournament in 2019.
