Spring schedule set for OC women’s golf

Felicity Wittenberg and the Eagles will open their spring season at nearby Kickingbird Golf Course.
OKLAHOMA CITY (Dec. 13, 2019) – Oklahoma Christian's spring schedule for women's golf will include five tournaments, OC coach Greg Lynn said Friday.

The Eagles will open the spring with two tournaments that have become staples on their schedule – the Diffie Ford-Lincoln Invitational, hosted by Southern Nazarene at Kickingbird Golf Course in Edmond on March 9-10 and the Midwestern State Invitational, hosted by Midwestern State at Wichita Falls Country Club in Wichita Falls, Texas, on March 16-17.

OC will play for the first time in the Lion Invitational – hosted by Texas A&M-Commerce at Trophy Club Country Club in Trophy Club, Texas – on March 23-24.

The Eagles will travel west for their next event, the RJGA Palm Valley Classic, at Palm Valley Golf Club in Goodyear, Ariz. The tournament – formerly known as the Mustang Intercollegiate – will be hosted by Western New Mexico.

Also for the first time, OC will compete in the Lone Star Conference Championship, which will be played April 21-23 at Texas Rangers Golf Club in Arlington, Texas.

Should the Eagles qualify for the NCAA postseason, the NCAA Division II West Super Regional Championship will be May 4-6 at The Club at La Costa in Carlsbad, Calif., and the Division II Championship will be May 12-16 at the Country Club of St. Albans in St. Albans, Mo.
