The men's soccer team beat Bacone College 5-0 in intersectional action at home Sept. 28.
Sophomore Brady Nikkel and freshman Phillip Hoover paced the Eagles' offense with two goals each. Junior Matt Clark accounted for the fifth OC score.
Nikkel scored from 18 yards out in the 11th minute of play after receiving a touch pass from Clark. Six minutes later Hoover converted a direct kick for his second goal of the season.
Nikkel and Clark teamed up again for a score in the 23rd minute to build a 3-0 lead. Clark got on the scoreboard with his 13th goal of the season with Ike Emegano receiving credit for the assist.
Hoover's second goal, his third of the year, came in the 42nd minute with an assist from Nikkel.
The Eagles, now 5-1-2, return to action in the SAC opener against Southern Nazarene here Oct. 1 at 7 p.m.
