Oklahoma Christian University opened conference competition with a 3-1 victory over Oklahoma City University on Oct. 14. The win raised the 21st ranked Eagles to 9-2-1 overall.

Coach Adam Basic's squad scored early to take a 2-0 lead on a pair of back-to-back goals by sophomore Matt Clark and added a second half score by Wilson Chinenyanga to seal the victory. Clark, scoring in the fourth and fifth minutes, now has 19 goals for the season.

Jared Rigsby assisted on Clark's first score and Robert Mwangi assisted on the second goal. Chinenyanga's first goal of the season came on a 25-yard line drive shot in the 67th minute of play.
