Oklahoma Christian University opened its 2004 soccer season with a double overtime, 1-1 tie against Colorado State University -Pueblo at home Aug. 26.
Sophomore Brady Nikkel scored for the Eagles on a 25-yard line drive from the right side after taking a long crossing pass from freshman Joseph Stevenson.
CSU-Pueblo knotted the count on a 30-yard scoring shot by Mark Thimm off a direct kick.
After tieing in regular time the teams were unable to mount a scoring drive in the two overtime sessions.
Oklahoma Christian will meet Texas Wesleyan University in Fort Worth, Texas on Aug. 28. The Eagles play at 3 p.m.
