Oklahoma Christian University sophomore Matt Clark opened the 2003 soccer season on a high note with a hat trick to lead the Eagles to an opening game, 4-0 victory over Austin College (Texas) August 29.

Clark, an NAIA All-America honorable mention honoree as a freshman, registered the second three-goal performance of his college career against Austin College. The 5-11, 175 lb. forward scored three goals against St. Gregory's University last season.

Clark also was credited with an assist on OC's other score by Jared Rigsby.
